The Cabinet of Ministers expanded the free dental prosthetics program: what is known
This was reported by the Ministry of Health.
From now on, free dental care will be provided to:
- foreign military personnel and stateless persons who are serving under a contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian Intelligence, the State Special Transport Service, and the National Guard of Ukraine;
- Ukrainians who survived captivity.
The department explained that for this, patients will need to contact healthcare institutions that have signed an agreement with the National Health Service of Ukraine for the appropriate packages.
They also recalled that the dental prosthetics program for servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was launched in April 2024. In total, at least 70 thousand defenders have received such services since then.
What does the service include?
Dental services include X-ray examinations, preparation for dental prosthetics, treatment of caries and tooth damage, tooth restoration, tooth extraction, pain relief, etc. Dental prosthetics services can be provided both in the medical institution where the person is undergoing treatment and in another institution.
